This is so absolutely true. Unfortunately, I see way too many parents that don't recognize that they have a big role in the education of their children. This does not mean that they need to be teaching them school lessons but they do need to be encouraging them in their studies and assisting where possible. Even just reading with your children can have such wonderful positive impacts.
