A Hawk Has Taken Ear
Have you read a story of a counrty where all were runnig behind hawk bird saying that the hawk has taken their ear. It was actually rumor! Later a wise person asked them to check their ear and they found their ear. They later backed at home.
Today we experienced something like that in our area. In the afternoon , my friend called me and said that a lot of people gathering on the bank of our river. I was shocked and found that they are claiming that few people saw big Golden pot in the river and after few minutes it disappeared. Since the morning, thousands of people visited to see the spot.
People were also believing that it is something holy incident and we all should visit at least to show the respect. Within one day, many people from outside of our area also got the news. Some are thinking that it was full of Gold, well. "IF" it is true . The if is very important to people. Well, i also thought it is true when my friend said that he saw the pot as eye witness. But he was actually joking at me.
May be it was result of such joke. But isn't it funny? Oh no, i should not hurt anyone's belief . What if, people start througing coins or money from tomorrow and ask god to fullfil their wishes. My friend and I were making a plan to buy a big pot and keep in the river. So people will trust it more and they will make us rich. It was funny discussion topic. May be anyone could claim their there was a shrine long ago. LoL.
We don't want lots of people come here as we (friends) feel comfortable to meet here everyday and have some fun.

Ahahahaha. Maybe you could put your pot on a raft and anchor it out a ways. That way if people throw coins in the pot they get 2x the wishes. Otherwise they only get a single wish :)

We tend to believe almost anything... Skepticism is so underrated...
Could this be somehow the case too with cryptos? I currently hold 3 different tokens; let's call them A, B and C.
On A I invested a lot of time and effort, but after moving it all to an alt coin, it got very deprecated, and I ended up with about half of the max amount I ever achieved, which was about 70 USD.
On B I misplaced a wallet, so I had to start from scratch, loosing about 100 USD.
On C, well it has not yet opened to the public, so though I theoretically hold about 300 USD, it may end up becoming like sand or water...
I honestly hope that's just me, but I cannot help thinking this may be the case with may crypto-holders out there...
