Quote of the day - Only the educated are free (Epictetus)

This is an interesting quote. Once again, I do not agree completely, because true freedom comes from the Gospel of Jesus (the way I see it). But, still - there is an essence to it that is completely true! What do I mean?

The more you know, the greater is your freedom. If you only know one thing, then you will be limited to living with that skill and that knowledge. Maybe you are great in a sport. But, imagine that you get injured and you are no longer able to do the sport you have been doing until now. What will happen then? If you are educated in many areas and have the knowledge, then a world of opportunities will be ahead and available, even if you should be injured or something else should happen to you!

Being educated doesn't necessarily mean having an education. If you have noticed, many of the blockchain experts and computer experts didn't receive their skills at a university. Instead, they have been eagerly studying and learning at home, in front of their computers, programing, and just developing their skills.

So, don't feel limited to a university - there are many ways to get educated!
