To be blunt: It is ascribed to the Value of Education those Institutions impacts!! This confirms the aphorism that says;"Whatever is Good has it's Corresponding Price"

The Ivy Class is given to those Institutions because of the "IVY" quality of Education they impacts to their Undergraduates! This quality might not necessarily be in the Academics alone. These Schools are highly priced because of the GOOD WILL they have accumulated over the years thereby placing their Graduates above Others in the sometimes Competitive Employment Market as most Employers would assume they are better than their Peers in Performance and Productivity.

Emotional Satisfaction derived from being associated with an IVY School is another cause of their relatively high tuition expenses. It gives their Graduates an air of superiority over their Peers.

While the forgoing reasons may not be quantitatively measured; they account and would continue to dictate the costs of Education in such Classed Schools.
