Happiness is a subjective term, to speak of happiness is to refer to a perceived well-being, because happiness can be something sudden, at a certain moment, but what really can cause healthy behaviors is that state of well-being.

What about happy people?

  • They relate more with other people.
  • They have better self-esteem.
  • They feel comfortable to practice their hobbies.
  • They lead a quiet life.
With all these behaviors, people feel healthier and with more longevity, their feelings are gratifying.

Does being positive mean being happy?

Being positive is not synonymous with being happy, but it has a lot to do with it. Positive people are those that for example:

  • They do not collapse with a problem.
  • They see the solutions, facing a difficulty.
  • They want to explore and look for alternatives.
Contrary to negative people:
  • They see everything as a threat.
  • They believe that things will never go well.
  • When something goes wrong, they think it is durable and stable.
  • This leads to less encouragement in him.
It is not the same, positivity and happiness, but living continuously alarmed by a threat does not make any person feel good.

Is it possible to have some advantage by being a bit negative?


Of course it has advantages, life is not to be continuously in negativity, but offers, for example:

  • They value what can fail.
  • They see the risk where positive people do not see it.
 

 


How to understand happiness or the welfare state as a healthy behavior?

As human beings, to be in happiness, the ideal is to practice it, as follows:

  • You must live with honesty and consistency. Behave according to the scale of values, because when people betray their scale of values, they feel guilty and feel bad.
  • The practice of any exercise. Practicing exercise makes you feel good, because it releases neurotransmitters and neurons, among others that influence the level of well-being.
  • Live and nurture personal relationships. People live to be in society and satisfying relationships make them feel happy.
  • Always accept what can not be changed. It is not resignation, but there is a part of life that is unjust and that does not depend on you, that must be accepted so as not to invest unnecessary energy, in the place that can not help you.
  • You should never compare yourself with other people. Each person has their own way of being, their chromosomes, their personality, everything that is different, they should not compare to anyone, because that does not make them feel good.
  • Live always in the present. You must forget the things that have hurt you at some time in your life. Do not think about what the future holds because you feel sadness and anxiety.
  • You should always be grateful and practice gratitude. Being aware of what you have, of the people who surround you in the environment and the level of well-being, allows you to value the things that sometimes go unnoticed.
  • The vision about the problem must be changed. A problem really is not a problem, what I really should do is think: how can I solve it? Who can I ask for help?
  • You should always speak well of other people. You must change the criticism and speak well of others.
  • The excuses do not lead anywhere. When they look for excuses, people stop getting involved in projects that would make them feel much happier.

In life there are many things that are within reach to be happy, they should only be practiced.
