It's good they didn't delete the post though. That kind of information can be really helpful sometimes. Don't know if it was plagiarism or not, but it helped me set up software on my Mac, and I came across this post instead of the original one. By the way, are there any other articles or resources that were useful to you when you first bought a Mac and were trying to set it up for comfortable use?

There are a lot of websites where you can find genuinely useful information, not just articles filled with fluff instead of practical advice. For my work, I don't need any complicated programs or software that I have to customize first. But I do like to set things up so I can quickly open the apps I need or customize the control panel. I used tips from https://setapp.com/how-to/customize-menu-bar-on-mac for that, so there are no unnecessary icons and only the info I really need. Setapp has a lot of articles that are useful for me, and sometimes I just google and find solutions.
