Baby Tucán

Habita en los bosques andinos con abundantes epifitas en la cordillera de los Andes, preferentemente entre los 1.200 y 2.600 metros. Ave común en los bosques nublados del occidente de cantón, se lo encuentra en pareja y a menudo en grupos pequeños en busca de alimento. Se caracteriza por su diseño muy vistoso en el pico y un azul grisáceo en su plumaje.

It inhabits the Andean forests with abundant epiphytes in the Andes mountain range, preferably between 1,200 and 2,600 meters. Common bird in the cloud forests of western canton, it is found in pairs and often in small groups in search of food. It is characterized by its very showy design in the beak and a grayish blue in its plumage.

Adult toucan
