Embrace the day
If I have learned something in this life, it is that "nobody learns in the head of another." For this reason, I believe that we should all have the right to experiment, to look for ways to express our interiority, to be served according to our individuality. Because although we look the same in many ways, each being has its own space and time to flourish, to bring its star to the sky and share its light. We are all connected beings and each one contributes and benefits, at the same time, from that connection.
Consequently, one of the aspects that should prevail in the energy exchange between beings and things in the Universe is the respect. Therefore, it is necessary to start from the individuality towards the collective and not the opposite.
For this reason, I think that relations in the world must be reviewed and adjusted, before moving towards improved forms of interaction and coexistence. Individualism is not bad, selfishness, perhaps yes. And they have been used as synonyms thoughtlessly. It must start from the individual and not from the collective because the individual needs to know, nurture, grow and "be", for to be with others; He needs to love and respect himself, for to love and respect others. Around these ideas I focus my response to ecoTrain QOTW of this week: What does your perfect day look like in the ecoVillage of tomorrow?
What would my perfect day be like living in an eco-village?
Sharing life in a common space, such as an "eco-village," where all people are supposed to vibrate in the same harmony, should be an honorable experience, where humility and gratitude are the foundations that support daily relationships. . To capture this idea within the framework of an affordable reality, we must trust that if each person is humble of heart and thanks the Universe for all the gifts and opportunities received, they will be more willing to "give" their best with love to self and the common good; without imposition of any nature or ways of restricting the freedom necessary for the development of individual creativity that results in the collective.
For me, a great day in an "eco-village" must be impregnated with nature, which must be revered as another "being" connected and in harmony with interests with all of us who would be living in the common space destined to grow, as family. And, at this point, I think it is superlative to understand that the notion of "family" is necessary to assume an eco-village as a community space. If the set constitutes a family in Love and Blessing, the differences will become smaller and tolerance will grow like grass.
Every day you must embrace the day, worth the redundancy. Living each day as the only day would be a challenge of positive growth without the anxieties of an unbeatable future. For this, it would be honorable to live day by day surrounded by nature. It is so nutritious to connect with the sun or the moon, as chosen, to receive silent feedback from everything around, the sounds of the day, sunset or night: the caress of the breeze, the rumorous sound of moving water, the creaks of the trees, the squeaking and humming of insects, the whispers of invisible beings that have always been and will continue to be around harmonious, conscious and a little crazy people. Because we must recognize that a touch of madness has always been present in the great achievements of humanity.
What kind of structure would my day have?
Particularly, I must recognize that I appreciate lonely contemplation and detest routines. However, I am clear that in order to carry out a community project of this magnitude, activities that promote self-reliance are necessary. They say that "when the student is ready, the teacher appears and I am a better student than a teacher", despite being a teacher. Based on this premise, it would take a few hours to share with others who share their knowledge on how to produce organic food in small plots adjacent to the house or in recycled containers enabled for this purpose and how to cure the body of diseases using medicinal plants and, At the same time, learn to recognize medicinal plants, how to protect them and help them spread, how and where plants thrive best for human consumption, how to eat healthy and tasty without interfering with the natural order. And, more than that, enjoy that feeling of work done, learning to fluctuate vigorously with everything.
The energy that is generated in a loving environment is sublime and in an environment of achievement it is the maximum. But, above all, do not talk much and live longer, seizing the moment because time flies and the future is not, there is only today. It is about putting into practice the distilled wisdom in the Odes of the poet Horacio:
"...Be wise, filter the wines and shorten
in the short time the long hope. While we talk, it will have escaped
The jealous time. Embrace the day and trust the future minimally"

I agree, you do have to embrace each day. On one hand it is a gift that passes irrevocably, on the other hand, if there is no pressure (and there shouldn't be), one is more likely to just goof off. However, ideally merely life in the proper surroundings should provide enough inspiration to make you want to seize each day.
