Concomitant with faith

"Who do you trust and how do you decide who to trust? What signs and signals do you pay attention to when you decide to trust someone? Do you follow your instinct and go with your heart, or do you test people and take the time to decide who is worthy of your trust?"
By nature, we are trusting beings because our essence is loving. If we perceive love in what surrounds us, we will feel trust. Trust always prevails in all the decisions we make on a daily basis. If we do not have faith in ourselves and in our decisions, it will be difficult for others to have respect for us. That's why so many thinkers start from self-confidence, describing the process necessary to build trust in others. Then, we notice another important element to have confidence in one and in others: Faith.

But is it easy to trust others? Definitely not much these days. There are so many scoundrels who take advantage of the good faith of people who believe in human kindness: Mockery, deceit, betrayal, corruption, have been creating conditions that challenge our faith in others on a daily basis. Therefore, although it must be optimized as a sense of unity, harmful people have conspired to make more and more people become skeptical. But, then, should we act according to our nature or as imposed by an unwholesome social environment?

“Trust again and again. When the level of trust is raised high enough, people transcend apparent boundaries, discovering new and impressive abilities of which they were previously unaware.” (David Armistead)

With confidence it is possible to "transcend apparent limits". This idea reconciles us with our inner strength and the ability to work miracles with faith, love and trust to create positive changes that extend not only to humanity, but to the entire environment. In our hands is the prismatic to look towards a future with better perspectives. It is about believing and trusting that it is possible, that it is the time that time has waited to take us to another phase, to another level of interaction.

“The glue that holds all relationships together, including the relationship between the leader and the follower, is trust, and trust is based on integrity.” (Brian Tracy)

It's a matter of faith, instinct or heart, however you say it is. But, there is something within us that receives signals about others. For observant people, the energy that flows around most people is visible. If you believe in yourself and trust your intuition, you give credit to what you perceive.

Integrity has to do with moral integrity, with probity, with rectitude. If your word has value, then you have a lot to negotiate with. When others realize that you are a person with a word of honor, they learn to trust you.

Common Sense. And, at this point, it is good to emphasize the expression "learn to trust you", that is, trust can be learned, can be cultivated to reproduce, to feed back. Or, as Ernest Hemingway would say, "The best way to find out if you can trust someone is to trust him". Pretty simple, isn't it? Or, perhaps, the extreme that Henry-Louis Mencken puts to us: "Trust is the feeling of being able to believe a person even when we know we would lie, in his place."

Then, in the latter case, we surrender to the evidence of what some call blind** faith**, you trust another so much, even though you know that there are conditions that raise doubts about what he preaches, you believe in him and in his good judgment, even more than in your own, of being in a similar situation. And although his point of view is not easily digestible, we believe in his honorability and that inspires confidence in us.

“Trust, like art, never comes from having all the answers, but from being open to all questions.” (Earl Gray Stevens)

We never have all the answers to why we should have faith and trust. And this is observable in our behavior in the face of great truths not verifiable by the naked eye. We believe and trust in God, even though our senses do not perceive it. We believe in our parents, because of the trust they have gained in the process of parenting. We believe in the family, in friendship, in the couple, in the children. In itself, we all have a system of beliefs based on different levels of trust, on different bonds and on other things that are often not clear to us, but we care.

But what happens when there are no ties that unite us with others? It seems a matter of showing good faith. Although in the words of the Liberator Simon Bolivar, it would rather be "good faith is not enough, it is necessary to show it, because men always see and rarely think". A somewhat controversial reflection, but no less certain that introduces the idea that in order to gain confidence one must give indications that one lands in a possible reality, that actions have been taken to achieve the dream and there is verifiable evidence of that. People believe more in what is tangible, what they can see with their own eyes, than only in the ideas that move to achieve the desired good.

“When people honor each other, trust is established that leads to synergy, interdependence and deep respect. Both sides make decisions and choices based on what is right, what is best, and what is valued most.” (Blaine Lee)

Sailing in a sea of values when penetrating into the light of faith, we slide through the causality that offers us different aspects to achieve the desired effect. With self-confidence, respect, honorability and joint action, you achieve the confidence in others. This translates into believe that if you want, you can, without losing sight of the dreams, because they are the garden from where we project the reality we deserve and seek.

There is a stretch of road gained in confidence, when there is relevance between what is thought, said and done. In the words of Patanjali:

When a talented team turns to itself in disinterested confidence and combines instinct with audacity and effort, it is ready to ascend.

It is very true, teamwork is favoured when there is trust between people. The bonds are strengthened and operated from the group view, rather than from the individual. The synergy brings forward many projects that would be hindered if undertaken alone.
