Waste Business Hub is a startup incubator of The Greens that strives to educate, empower and engage young and underprivileged youths to exploit the business opportunities in waste, hence nurture a generation of waste business entrepreneurs (Wastepreneurs) who will make profits while helping people and the planet.

EcoDesigns is the textile recycling and fashion designing hub that is currently training 13 young girls (most of whom are single mothers) for free in fashion designing and textile recycling. The principal goal of the training is to teach these young people creative ideas that can be used to stop all textile waste from getting into the landfill. To teach them how to transform the waste into beautiful low cost products that can be used to change the lives of the needy and poor people.
Today, our trainees thrilled us with awe-mazing textile upcycled products.

Great initiative.

Thanks for your support @solarcoach and we will like to work with you to invest in solar energy in Cameroon.

Good idea ! which investment do you propose for 60 sbd ?

To begin with we will like to have solar lighting at EcoDesigns (Waste Business Hub) where we train these young girls in textile recycling and fashion designing. Back here in Bamenda, Cameroon, power failures are very common and whenever we have power failures our girls of EcoDesigns (Waste Business Hub) find it difficult to work because of the absence of light. A great start will be to acquire solar lamps as well as install a solar lighting system in our office and in the long term, we will like to power our machines with solar energy. Powering our machines with solar energy will be the most effective way of ensuring productivity because with solar energy, there will be no power failures. In the long term we look forward to setting up fashion designing and textile recycling facilities in rural areas where there is no electricity to be powered by solar energy. Thanks very much @solarcoach!

Would you accept to pay a 5 % annual interest rent on these 60 SBD ?
5 % annual interest rate = 3 SBD per year
0.25 SBD per month
@chrisaiki can help you to pay the montly interests by upvoting 1 @thegreens post per month. One upvote from @chrisiki is worth around 0.5 $
You will also have to post 1 promotional post about @solarcoach per week.
@solarcoach stay the owner of the solar torch for the live of the torch.

This is a great deal and we will definitely want to work with @solarcoach on this. Lets proceed.

The transfer has been done. Keep us inform on the purchase of solar lights !

Thanks very much for the support @chrisaiki and @solarcoach and we shall keep you updated. We are currently attending a training on creative leadership and as soon as we get back, we shall do a plan of action for the purchase and use of the equipment as well as postings and updates as agreed! Gracias!

Y’all are doing excellent work!!
Have you thought about making vertical gardens crafted out of upcycled fabric?

This is a great resource you have shared and we will like to do some research and try to work on something. Gracias for you support!
