Thanks so much, Alex. It makes me cringe too. It's totally normal to want your children to succeed, but people don't think through how to actually best facilitate that. It seems to be getting worse and worse. People don't let their kids do anything. I know a number of people have had DSS called because their kids were playing in a fenced yard by themselves. It's tragic. Everyone is paralyzed by fear - kids and parents too.
