This is genius. I have been toying with the idea of doing this sort of thing. I have just not really decided on an electric netting option. It seems that those electric nets have a problem with tall weeds. However, with your plan of leaving it place for a good while, I guess it wouldn't be that big of a hassle to cut all the weeds where the fence is.

Thank you! We really love it, I couldn't imagine installing our gardens any other way now... Yes, we do whack down the weeds around the perimeter of the fence before putting it up. If it is literally sitting in the middle of a hayfield or something, you may have to weed-eat around the perimeter in the summer. My husband says it's not too much trouble. Thank you for resteeming!
