Although my garden is too small at the moment I hope to have a bigger one and undertake such tasks as making my own compost and now maybe bio char too!
That's great!! But I would offer that no garden is too small to make compost. Even if you don't have room for a compost heap there are other options: In ground composting, vermicomposting or bokashi composting. The latter two can be done indoors, even under the kitchen sink.
I've heard of Bokashi Bins! They haven't really taken off in the UK yet!
