Good methods...So long as the job gets done quick and efficiently, thats what counts..... Yeah good idea with the Strop....
I now tend to use a figure 8 knot when i can as it is easier to undo from the conventional half hitch type stopper knot, especially when it's pulled real tight, although this mainly only comes into effect when used as a stopper knot..
