That gets me wondering about trust and yes life experiences can make you wiser in regards to trust.
Living out in the country I donèt have to content with the concrete jungles where if you are too trusting you are often the first to be taken advantage of.
I think you are right to to a lot of it comes down to common sense but also that bit about trusting in the universe definitely plays a part.

Oh yes, it is so nice to be able to trust others, simply because we are in the same boat (the same community) together. If you are bound to see people again regularly, especially if there are not too many around anyway, everyone involved will be naturally more trusting.
