RE: Boycott Nestle- They are Once Again Pushing Their Formula Milk On Women Living In Poverty

in #ecotrain7 years ago

There are plenty of milk scams in Cambodia, heaps of kids carry infant children around preying on the kindness of tourists. They ask the tourists, not for money... For milk. Once purchased and the tourist leaves, the formula is then resold and never used.
A clever scam, using chiding to tug at your heart strings, especially when you consider a tin of formula can be more expensive than some people earn in a week or 2 in Cambodia.

Sorry, I know this is off topic a bit, but all this for a product that a woman's body can produce better, naturally and for free.
I get some people can't breastfeed, but for the majority. I remember watching how bad the formula shortages are/were in Australia (not sure I'd that's still an issue) but I thought the same thing back then also.

Thats ok, goes to show the ridiculous price for the formula anyhow, and yes I hear you as a mother I wholeheartedly support breastfeeding, it is the most natural way to feed and nourish your child and yes it is free. But as always money talks. Thanks @philippekiene
