really cool to read about the may celebration of decorating a hawthorn where you live. i planted a hawthorn this year given to me by my friend; i've been wanting one for quite a while. i love now to know this tradition where you are!
This is so not in keeping with the traditional celebration of the fertile goddess, who is strong and wild.
this is so good and true. the true wild femininity is not tame and virgin, but contains so much of this element. i wish to see more of it manifest on earth. starts with me/ us <3
Yeah I love hawthorn trees, it is my oldest daughters birth tree, it is the heart tree and such a strong tree to have on your land, it's presence is so warming to the heart and has so many medicinal properties. And yes here's to embracing our wild side xx
