it's funny how the idea of mud as a cleanser can feel counter productive, because it's visually dirty. I can certainly vouch that certain types of soil/mud will remove the oils from your skin in the same way soap does. I mostly garden with gloves, due to the fact that my soil strips too much oil from my skin, causing it to peel and get sore. Soil is also a great balancer of microbes, converting harmful ones to beneficial ones.

You can check on Multani Mitti it is kind of dried soil and have many benefits to keep your skin glow. It used to apply like a paste ....it is special kind of mud
