Everyone having their needs met would certainly bring a lot more peace. However, there would always be those who want more and will steal to get more. Equal distribution is not easy to achieve, either. There would be those who do more and wonder why those who do nothing get to have the same share of resources. If only things were more simple...

Greed is another major factor causing unrest in the world. True it is just not one there are so many influences that creates conflicts in mankind and it is not simple at all to put your finger on one and nail it down. Everything is connected you try to end one the other pops up.
