A friend of mine living in the Lyndhurst area on a farm was complaining about most of their crops being destroyed by rabbits. They had hundreds of them running around the farm.
They can be terrible pests. The original settlers had a lot to answer for when they brought rabbits here. Then they brought foxes which ate the wildlife too. Grr
