thanks for sharing and highlighting this.. it seems like mainstream is just Starting to mention this.. even though things are already so bad. It is basically insane that it is happening when it just takes a bit of organising to recycle and repurpose plastics.. IN holland they are pretty good about it, and have a separate plastic waste pickup service.. they even give you free bio degradable bags to use!
India is very bad with this.. and even worse is that they often burn plastics to get rid of it and you are left breathing toxic air for days on end.. ugh..
Yeah there's burning plastic here too which is illegal i australia. Australia too has recycled bags, has had for years, supermarkets have only just stopped single use plastic though - except for Aldi, which alywas did bless em. I eel so poerless, and when you're faced with a video like that - just soo upsetting for me. So upsetting. I just think most of the time you dont need the bags in the first place, or the plastic. We dont need straws for one!!!
