Stimulating children's learning - The friendship mailbox - Part 2

A classroom without a sense of consolidation is an empty space, so what better way to encourage children to union, love, respect, companionship, than with the mailbox of friendship.
Today, the world is in a detachment that translates into disunity, and it is necessary to establish strategies that help the coupling, from childhood to adulthood.
Being a child implies being involved in an environment of daily coexistence with other children, in school, in the park, at children's parties, in visits to acquaintances, and it is important to teach that being condescending is part of what surrounds friendship.
With the creation of the mailbox, the coexistence of the children is facilitated, the importance of being kind, of being affectionate is learned, and they will want to be part of something, because friendship is something very pleasant, providing opportunities to know others and see the existing but wonderful differences of other people.
What does the friendship mailbox want?
Teamwork, through consolidation among children, and that in turn, not being able to disassociate that concept for any reason.
The mailbox of friendship is a type of mail that will allow the communication and expression of the feeling of friendship.Children should be taught that friendship implies:
- Share, good and bad moments.
- To be nice.
- Be good.
- Be friends.
- Support and be able to help each other.
Instilling what friendship means is to sow a seed that germinates with good precedents, showing what is right and how a true friend should act, in any circumstance.
Suggested activities:
The educator is always in constant search of strategies that help the development and learning of children, in this opportunity it is fun to put into practice the mailbox of friendship, in which there are varieties of games to call the union and understanding of the theme.
Step 1. Creation of friendship letters.
Children should create different writings for their classmates, the important thing is that they all consider themselves friends, because the more they have, the better they will feel, since they will be receiving a small detail.

Step 2. Row to enter the letter in the mailbox.
When all the children finish their friendship letters, the educator will ask them to carry out an orderly line so that all can present the letters that will be sent to their classmates.

Step 3. Placing the letter in the mailbox.
It is an exciting time, because everyone is in the expectation of those who consider themselves best friends or who want to have a new friendship.
The idea is to motivate them to have new relationships of friendship and keep existing ones, this activity strengthens the bonds between children.

Step 4. Selection of envelopes in the mailbox and reading.
The educator will ask a child to randomly select one of the friendship envelopes, proceed to read who the sender is and to whom it is sent.

When the reading is finished, to whom it was addressed, another envelope is selected and so on until everyone is happy with their writings, and therefore, they will all be friends.
This part of the activity closes with a group hug to make way for the following activities in the mailbox.
Step 5. Participation of the educator.
The educator in a new friendship mailbox will present three envelopes and each one will contain a different friendship activity.

Children will be responsible for choosing one of the envelopes at random and starting a new adventure.
The envelopes for the friendship activity will specify the following:
- Write on a banner the meaning of friendship. Each child must do it and express their personal criteria.
- Friendship drawings for your friends and display them on posters alluding to the dynamics. This allows the imagination to overflow.
- The game of the wheel holding hands. Children will choose new friends and make them part of them.
It is a pleasant time to express the feeling for the concept of friendship and what it represents in general.
Children under their own perspective will write what they feel and believe, giving way to the educator to know their points of view.
This helps to improve the writing because it must be something worthy to the view of the spectators.

Activity 2.
In the drawings of friendship the children will express what they feel, what their friends represent and the new ones that are part of their group.
This activity helps to develop the imagination, looking for new members to join this day and those who have to come to the friendship selection.
Everyone will be able to see the drawings, so it will be a great excitement for the students.

Activity 3.
The wheel of friendship game, a fun time to share and integrate as a family.
The educator can sing any song of his choice, according to the theme of friendship.
Everyone goes around and around without stopping, and when the music stops, children should hug anyone in front of them. This will motivate to create new friendships, to correspond to the feelings without discord, on the contrary reigning peace, love and friendship.

I hope that this activity allows you to create in your classrooms a feeling of emotional friendship and great feeling in the students, so that it is a generative circle of love that never ends.
You should always look for students to stay together and work in harmony, so one of the purposes of this friendship mailbox is for children to connect with each other.
