Neem is amazing and the trees grow very large, as I'm sure you know. Wouldn't it be kinder to take this little one and plant it in a kinder, more nourishing environment where it has a chance of growing to maturity?

Kinder? More nourishing environment? like a nursery? or a forest perhaps? Well, the idea here is to grow trees in urban and semi-urban locations. We need clean air, more greenery, and a better environment.
The space that you are looking at in the picture is good enough for it to grow. We water it, we give it organic manure whenever required and it will grow to be a huge tree someday. We have planted hundreds and most of these are growing really well.
