At what point do people lose total confidence in the dollar? I mean theres over 100 billion in cryptos and chinese and russians have been buying moutnains of gold...what is everyone waiting for? Where is all this money coming from in the stock market??
Good point - have asked the same question many times - from what I understand Chinese govt has been winding down on it's US bonds for sometime - takes a while ago for that amount of borrowing - couple that with the Fed's announcement it will also wind back its balance sheet towards the end of the year, and we may be looking at an end of year / start of 2018 major collapse?
thats what i am seeing as well...most likely the markets will start slowly crashing and the fed will back off...will they play this game forever??? its been two years and theyre only at 1%! ...getting so bizarre at this point lol and the market just keeps moving up and up...no trump tax cuts, no elimination of obamacare, higher rates, which means higher cost of servicing debt....
