But for capex cost wind can never really deliver the same boost to energy supplies like fossil in terms of on tap energy demand for load levelling.
That's true, but if you combine all renewable energy sources, wind, sun, water, you'll have unlimited and clean energy for any demand.
Or just a few sqkm of the Sahara desert with concentrated solar power.... that would power Europe.
