THE FANTASY AND REALITY OF CHANGE IN NIGERIA
Change is slow and gradual process. It requires hard work, a bit of luck, a fair amount of self
sacrifice and a lot of patience.
The fantasy of change: A sudden transformation will bring a total change in one's fortune,
bypassing work, luck, self sacrifice and time in one fantastic stroke... The APC government offer
the latter before election but after it, the president said to Nigerians before he was sworn in; that
Nigerians should not expect magic from him which will brings us back to reality of change. Years
back, Nigerians clamor for change, when we felt we have been guilty enough and i ask myself;
are we really ready for this change?. Well we can all answer to that question our self now. THE
REALITY: The present situation in our society today is as a result of change we all voted for, my
biggest worry now is whether this change is a Positive or Negative one, but one thing am certain
of is that We are not ready for a change like this, because the rate at which commodities is
increasing in the society is very alarming and even majority of Nigerians can’t afford a single
square meal, clothes and shelter now is no longer affordable for many Nigerians. Above all, we
should be ready to stand up for what is rightfully ours. i was very pleased to see our own celeb
Innocent idibia A.k.a 2face call for a nation wide protest but i think we all know the end of that
story. so my fellow Nigerians its time for us to unite and claim what is right ours. My fellow
Nigerians, let's identify what we truly want and stand by it; that's when we can truly get the
change we clamor for. Thank you and God bless Nigeria.
