I think many of the crypto space is hyped at the moment, especially ICO's. What is a cryptocurrency, but a store of value. Speculation around Bitcoin has inflated the price. Segwit will sort out the transaction speed issue, but there are alt coins that do a better job at the moment and will upgrade based on usability rather than mining profit. Bitcoin has become quite centralised. The energy used to produce the crypto in mining is such an environmental waste, there must be a greener alternative?
