Cane trade
Sugarcane suppliers in Banda Aceh dismantle their wares on one of the streets, in Kota Banda Aceh. Sugar cane is sold Rp 4,000 per one bond. In one bond, there are 6 to 7 stalks of sugarcane.
This sugar cane is a raw material for sugarcane traders, who are seen peddling their wares in around the capital of Aceh.
In Aceh, the largest land for plantations is located in Bener Meriah. Land area in this area reached 25,300 Ha. However, the land is not fully planted with sugarcane. Local authorities are focusing sugarcane plantations in Aceh Tengah with an area of 12,000 Ha.

In addition to these two areas, sugarcane plantations are also present in almost all areas of Aceh. But the land area in some other areas, in Aceh, is not as wide as Aceh Tengah and Bener Meriah.
Sugarcane plantations in Aceh are managed independently by the community, with the size of a small garden. Sometimes, the people of Aceh use the rest of the land in their homes to plant sugar cane. This makes it difficult to record optimally, the points of sugarcane plantations in Aceh.
