One comment you will hear from any academia. Is that being without a job will affect peoples perception of their own identity! I kid you not, this is one of their biggest concerns is a person's fragile perception of their own identity and self-worth.
A UBI is just a stop gap measure to hopefully something even better.
Another thing academia is saying. This century will either be paradise or oblivion! And really Mike if we are not trying to create a Utopian world. What are we trying to create? I would like to hear your thoughts on that question!
And yes if you are following DAVOS. The proposal of a UBI is a common theme.
