Excellent post. A monetary policy is very complex and needs to be flexible because people learn and adjust behaviors. Therefore the same policies can lead to different behaviors. You cannot repeat a policy from the past and expect the same results. It must be an ongoing adjustment process that will use the wisdom of the crowds.
