I keep hearing so many figures thrown around for how big the derivatives market is. From $200 trillion to $1.6 quadrillion. Doesn't anyone actually know?
Well its impossible to tell exactly, because there are some chinese zombie banks that launder it all day, and most derivatives are not even accounted, not to mention traded in secret dark pools.
But according to some fresh estimates I've read it's currently around 1.6 quadrillion, and growing rapidly.
