The USA won the Nobel Prize in Economics

Two Americans, William Nordhaus and Paul Romar, received the Nobel Prize for their contribution in designing the basic and urgent issues, including long-term sustainable growth in the global economy.

The Royal Swedish Academy announced their name on Monday as the winners of this year's award.

William Nordhaus worked with climate change and Paul Romor did the job of sustainable economic growth.

Professor Nordhaus, a professor of economics at the Yale University of the United States, has been awarded the award for recognition of work due to climate change, according to the Nobel Committee.

On the other hand, Romar, the chief economist and senior vice president of the World Bank, showed how economists can achieve more dynamic economic growth rates.

The prize will be officially awarded to them in Oslo on December 10. They will share the rewards.

The Nobel Laureates started on Monday with the announcement of the Nobel Prize in Medicine. The Nobel Committee will announce the names of the Nobel Laureates in the economy on October 8.
