this while what's actually making it so hard for people to get by is the cost of living due to all the taxes; they reduces people's income, while making everything more expensive as well

so, what actually needs to happen is to cut spending, so taxes can be cut as well and everybody gets to keep more of their own money, while everything becomes cheaper and cheaper
