here is an oddity. the total reported net from this little fiasco is 50.000 dollars)i have no idea how anyone came up with that number seeing that it is being paid in crypto currency) so are we being lied too? or is this a false flag to get the global community to aggressively start to attack the crypto world? governments traditionally dont like to be cut out of the action when it comes to money and would move rapidly against the largest players.

Perhaps because it might not have been about money... if they used a CIA/NSA hacking tool to do it, it could easily have been a form of rebellion against the state. Also, Hackers are an egotistical and arrogant lot, and doing something big that gets recognition in their community is a very good motive for engineering something like this.
