Why are MSM business channels talking up the stock market?

I think that anyone that is honest, can plainly see how the US market is stagnant.
Money velocity is minimal, and real estate exchange is barely existing.
The public is not talking extravagant vacations.
Boating, off-roading, motorcycling is also minimal.
Small businesses are at all time lows.

Just to be safe,
I would take most of my chips off the stock market table.
Maybe even time for some P/M insurance.
