My Shopify Store Has Been Down ALL DAY | Why You Shouldn't Buy Your Domains from Shopify
Hey guys, those of you who have Shopify stores may have been experiencing down time today. My Shopify store went down this morning at aroun 10:30am Central time and up until now about 6:30pm Central time my store is still down.
I have several Shopify stores and at least for me it seems it's only affecting my Shopify stores which I purchased my domain from Shopify aka OpenSRS which I believe is there provider.
My stores which I have domains through GoDaddy and name Cheap are still running fine.
I called Shopify support earlier today, was told that it's an issue with their domain provider, she initially told me should be taken care of sometime shortly after lunch. Here we are several hours later and I'm still down. I'm missing out on sales, I'm losing money. Fortunately my business has an 800 number so we were able to take some phone orders but our site has been down all day.
Curious to hear if this issue is affecting you guys as well? Drop a comment and let me know. Also please report if you purchased your domain from Shopify or from another provider as I believe it's only affecting Shopify stores which purchased their domain through Shopify.

Watch Shopify stock tomorrow.... this is very bad news.
So what's going on? I see all these articles about "does shopify have a FB problem". I persued a couple articles and they say this is gonna harm entrepreneurs being able to target as well on fb which is kind of what allows for alot of these kinda bs ali express dropshipping stores to function.
What's the bad news?
