Hello Steemians,

I hope you have a nice weekend.

In the last few weeks I read a few articles and watched a lot of videos on the topic "Shopify"

In short:
Shopify is an eCommerce platform where you can set up your online store in nearly 1 hour and everything is right there: templates, standard settings and so on.

How to become a storeowner:

At first you have to pick a plan ( you also have a trial period).
You get a shopify- domain (nameofyourstore.myshopify.com) but you can easily get your own (e.g. nameofyourstore.com) via shopify (or GoDaddy, NameCheap...).
you can choose from a variety of free templates for your store
Just add your products, content and payment options
Go and get your costumers: therefore start promotion via social networks (FB, Instagram, Reddit...) or use other strategies

Sounds easy, right? Well .. unfortunately it's not that simple. It is true that you can set up your store and have it running in short time but the devil is in the detail.
If you have no further knowledge about advertising and marketing strategies (like me) you have to read a lot of articles and watch even more videos. I highly recommend youtube - search for shopify tutorials.

Dropshipping is very easy with shopify
The good thing about dropshipping is that you don't have to buy products for yourself before selling them.

How it works:
You find nice products (for example on aliexpress.com), list these items in your shopify store and if a costumer wants to buy it, you contact the supplier, send in all the shipping information - and it's done. The product is shipped from the supplier directly to your costumer.
You also have to consider possible complaints and complications because of long shipping times. But there are also some ways to avoid these problems (make shipping "free", choose ePacket delivery ...)

Conclusion:
I'm a newbie and no pro here but eCommerce is such an interesting field that I had to start with Shopify.
I read a nice quote : "The only real failure in life is the failure to try" and that's totally right. The good thing about Shopify is that you don't need to be an expert in marketing or coding because of these nice tutorials out there and the user-friendly platform. Go, try it out :)

In den letzten Wochen habe ich einiges über das Thema "Shopify" gelesen und mir Videos auf Youtube dazu angesehen.

Zusammengefasst:
Shopify ist eine E- Commerce - Plattform, die es einem sehr leicht macht, seinen eigenen Internet- Store einzurichten (das kann nur manchmal eine Stunde dauern). Der Grund ist, dass man alles direkt vor seiner Nase hat: templates (sozusagen das Design für den Store), Standardeinstellungen und so weiter.

Wie geht das also?

Zunächst musst du ein Preismodell wählen (du kannst Shopify jedoch auch für einen begrenzten Zeitraum testen)
Du bekommst deine eigene Shopify - Adresse (namedesstores.myshopify.com) aber es ist auch möglich, sich eine .com - Adresse zu wählen (z.B. über Shopify direkt, GoDaddy oder NameCheap...)
Du kannst aus einer Vielzahl von (gratis) Designs eines für deinen Shop auswählen
Füge Produkte, Inhalte und Bezahloptionen hinzu (Paypal ist z.B. integriert)
Nun musst du noch potentielle Käufer finden - Schalte also Werbung für deinen Store (z.B. auf sozialen Netzwerken wie Facebook) oder nutze andere Marketing - Strategien

Hört sich einfach an, oder? Leider liegt der Teufel, wie so oft, im Detail. Sicherlich kannst du deinen Store in aller Kürze einrichten und starten.
Allerdings ist insbesondere der letzte Punkt nicht einfach, wenn du keine weiterführenden Kenntnisse im Bereich des Internet- Marketing und Werbung hast. Hier ist es angebracht, sich zu belesen und Youtube- Videos zum Thema (Suche nach "Shopify Tutorial") zu schauen.

Hier wird wirklich alles gezeigt, was du wissen musst und es ist eine sehr einfache Schritt- für - Schritt - Anleitung.

Dropshipping ist auch sehr einfach mit Shopify.

Was verbirgt sich hinter dem Begriff?
Nun, Dropshipping heißt, dass du Produkte, die verkauft werden sollen, nicht selbst besitzen musst.

Wie funktioniert das?
Du findest also ein tolles Produkt auf einer Internetseite (z.B. aliexpress.com) und stellst dieses dann in deinen Shopify Store (und fügst noch eine eigene Beschreibung hinzu). Wenn ein Kunde nun dieses Produkt kaufen will, kontaktierst du den Hersteller des Produkts, gibst ihm die Kundenadresse und dieses sendet die Ware nun direkt an den Käufer.
Bedenke jedoch lange mögliche Beschwerden und Probleme aufgrund der Lieferungszeiten, die bis zu 4 Wochen dauern können. Aber auch hier gibt es Wege, diese zu umgehen (z.B. durch die Wahl des "epackets" oder indem du das Produkt gratis verschicken lässt)

Fazit:
Ich bin noch ein kompletter Neuling aber ich halte eCommerce (Internethandel) für ein wahnsinnig spannendes Feld. Deswegen musste ich einfach mit Shopify anfangen. Das Gute an der Plattform ist, dass es so detaillierte Tutorials dazu gibt und es so benutzerfreundlich ist.
