Oh yes... we have those too in Poland :) But we decorate them on Saturday morning. Now the kids do whatever they please, but when I was a kid we used to colour them with the onion peels and then scrape the top layer off with something sharp, so the pattern is white. And we do have some very old ones kept too :)
