"Shows Over Folks" at the Tip Of Africa

in #easter7 years ago (edited)

The Africans I've come across, (not from South Africa) friends, colleagues, people I've met along the way and had a completely random conversation with, believe that South Africa is the gateway to the so-called, "first world".

At the moment we are slacking behind. Currency traders like myself, economists, financial industry workers, including more recently, the average person in the street can understand the effect that two "junk" statuses have had thus far. We have just experienced Standard and Poor's and Fitch all finally let down the curtain on the puppets and the puppet master in our government. This reality has not only called our reputation into question amongst our fellow African nations, but has also caused the mobilization of ordinary South Africans in the streets.

This has been occurring every day since our Finance Minister was axed, and our cabinet ministers were shuffled like cards in a deck. People are asking for refunds at every major city across the country because the puppet master has taken his dictatorship mentality and placed it above the constitution.

In many ways we are the gateway for business in Africa, I'm not one to point fingers, but the current government of South Africa, has closed the gates, and in many ways we can point fingers at ourselves for letting them.
