That's great info! The only thing is that Steemit is going to ignore all the tags after the 5th tag. Meaning, e.g. under the "love" tag your post (on Steemit) is not listed even among the new published post under the "love" tag, and even less can be found under the "love" trending tag.

On the other hand, the good thing is that, for instance, on Creative Coin platform people can find it under the "love" tag among new and trending posts.
Didn't check the PALNet!

That could be one aspect. The other is that tags are indexed very selectively and sparsely. If the post doesn't have enough value the tags are ignored. That's my opinion, of course.

Well, everything is possible. As there is not anything official we can just play with guesses and a bit of experience which also doesn't have to be accurate.

Some time ago, I was playing with it by testing different possibilities, and in my opinion Steemit is just strictly glued to 5 tags (first 5), for I don't know what reason.

If we have the categories, only 5 tags would be OK. But like this, with so many different groups, projects etc., at the end turns out that there is no room for true content related tags. If we manage to use one, that's good while two tags is already a jackpot.

Thank God, at least some of those new tokenized platforms recognize more of them.

There should be something else for groups, tribes, communities...

Tags are meant to define content and not affiliation. They are abused now.
