Earthquake In Mexico
This school in the south of the capital has become the symbol of the pockets of pain of the tragedy, because so far 32 students and five adults are reported dead, and it is feared that the figure will increase.
Late Tuesday, central Mexico was rocked by a 7.0-magnitude earthquake, just as the 32nd anniversary of the devastating 1985 earthquake struck.
So far, the earthquake left 225 dead: 94 in Mexico City, 71 in the neighboring state of Morelos, 43 in Puebla, 12 in the State of Mexico, four in Guerrero and one in Oaxaca, according to official figures.
This tragedy happens while Mexico has not yet overcome the trauma that left another earthquake - 8.2 degrees - occurred on September 7, which left a hundred dead and many houses destroyed.
After the earthquake, Mexico's authorities said they reviewed all the schools in the country and verified that their structures were strong.
