Earthquake near North Korea's nuclear test center

An earthquake of 2.9 magnitude was felt near North Korean Pygium-R nuclear testing center. The earthquake was caught on the Richter Scale on local time on Thursday night.

Earlier, on 23rd of the month, the nuclear bomb blasts in the region on experimental basis. There was an earthquake of 3.1 magnitude after that.

Experts say that the earthquake was created due to bomb blasts. But this earthquake is not natural or man-made, it is still not possible to determine.

Neighboring South Korea said the earthquake was normal. The United States Geological Survey Division also did not comment on the issue.

The news of the Khalaj Times said that earthquake was within three kilometers of the earthquake. The place is located north of the Pungi-R atomic center.

Earlier, on September 3, a strong earthquake of 6.3 magnitude was felt near North Korea-China border. The United Nations Security Council has imposed a ban on North Korea by the blast that caused the explosion.

Several times the earthquake occurred due to the North Korean nuclear bomb explosion. In 2006, for the first time bomb blasts caused North Korea. At that time earthquake of 4 decimal 1 was felt. The magnitude of this earthquake was less than the past.
