Happy New Year!

Today is the first post of the year and I want to highlight a few things so that you stay in #steembuff shape! There have been several changes to our Guild and I'd like to encourage members to revisit our Basecamp to be up to date on protocol regarding boosts, etiquette, quality of posting and our Terms of Service. It's an ever-changing system in which we are improving upon continually.

OK. Let's get motivated!

What are you planning on posting today or rather this week?

Have you got a clear or vague outline of potential things you want to post about?

Having such a list is important. Don't be afraid to take the time to daydream. You don't know when things will land at you. While you may have an idea now, it may actually feel incomplete upon contemplation, so save it and approach it later until all other pieces follow.

In addition to this, have you been keeping tabs on who you follow? Your feed should not only reflect your niche interests but also news so you have topical things to tie in with your content. ie. Something is happening on Planet Steemit, Twitter or the Internet at large and it will benefit your audience by adding your perspective. If that's not applicable to you, think about your ideal demographic and whom you're reaching out to. Not everyone in our Guild has a business or service to promote. So if social engagement and lifestyle is your jam, then plan appropriately so you encourage stimulation and interaction for your internal and external communities.

The last thing I want to cover for today is...
Do you understand yourself?

Writing when you're at your lowest point is not good. You want to be writing at a point in the day/night at which you are at your most confident and energetic. Prioritize your other day to day things, having time dedicated for this. If you snooze you will lose by not posting consistently.

This will be etiquette, cryptocurrency adoption, organic marketing, social engagement, writing theory, psychological issues and other tidbits that will give you the confidence and edge to roll out your content with.
