Is it more about the symbolic transition from centralized economics, power and politics then currency?

I can see the technological innovation behind bitcoin and how that is mind blowing, critical and amazing. How that innovation is just beginning to open new doors of infinite perception. Doors that lead to paths which are epochal at minimum and unknowable in truth.

In the meantime, in the transition happening right now, my inquiry and questions revolve around wondering if bitcoin is simply for personal wealth building as a currency or something more. If a percentage of our population owns and hold these assets what good are they as a curency of a new age?

Where is the flow of resources?

When do we, how do we, do we even, translate bitcoins into something of value beyond economic games?

Or is the value of bitcoin more about its paul revere nature while we create more aligned and responsible currencies with the thoughtware, software and spirit coming online.

Explain to me how my friends on Facebook and Steemit having millions of usd in bitcoin evolves the planet if they treat the bitcoin with the same consciousness that created competition and separation?
