It has been a exceptionally great day today on Green Radio, FM 99.0 as we talked about Plastic pollution and what we can do to curb plastic pollution in the North West Region of Cameroon.

Our resource persons for Green Radio today were Mr. Fombah Etienne from Y'G Inc., an IT Company based in Bamenda and Mr Fonsah Joel from HYSACAM - Bamenda, the company managing waste in Bamenda.
Mr. Fombah Etienne talked about the role of ICT in the sensitization and education of people about plastic pollution as well as how ICT can reduce the amount of waste generated in the city of Bamenda.
He said "if we go digital, we will greatly reduce the amount of waste we generate in the city of Bamenda" He also went further to share their companies experience in going green.
He said "Y'G Inc. offers mostly e-services to her clients and does everything possible to avoid printing."

Mr Joel from HYSCAM - Bamenda took time to talk about what HYSACAM - Bamenda is doing to manage waste in the city and called on inabitants of the city to reduce the amount of waste they generate. He gave simple and practical steps to help end plastic pollution such as taking your shopping bag to the market, refusing to use single use plastics and a lot more.

Other panelists we had on our Green Radio program today included Tubuo Laura (@laurakiss) who is The Greens Public Relations Officer and Lima Charlotte who is The Greens' Assistant Director of Projects and Programs
At the end of the one hour program, North Westeners were effectively schooled on issues relating to plastic pollution as well as what to do to end plastic pollution.

Bravo guys. Am sure the people of Bamenda will change their action toward the environment with the powerful message you have passed about plastic pollution. Courage.

Plastic pollution is one of the major concern in today's age, many countries are working towards it but sadly many still don't realize. You guys are doing a wonderful job. Thanx for all your efforts.

Thanks for these inspiring words and we are glad to connect with you!

Am so happy because the message went accross
