New update: Earth's atmosphere is leaking oxygen!!!

This is a shocking news update gonna tremble you all.
There is leaking of oxygen from earths atmosphere. And the terrible thing is we don't know why?

Every day, approximately 100 tons of oxygen escape through holes in earth's magnetic bubble called the POLAR CUSPS.
The cusp is like an expressway for particles.By analysing air bubbles trapped inside ice cores from Greenland and Antarctica, a team from Princeton University has found oxygen levels have dropped by 0.7 percent in the last 800,000 years, and figuring out why could be crucial to predicting our planet's future.
But in order to escape to space, oxygen needs to overcome Earth's gravity.
Scientists reveals that they still didn't understand how this happens that how it gets enough energy to do that.

To find out the answer to this question, our scientists from NASA are in Svalbard now, off the coast of Norway.
They are launching two research rockets to study oxygen outflow from the polar cusp.
Sounding rockets travel short elliptical paths to space before falling back to earth.
Those few minutes are enough time to collect valuable data that we can not always get from the ground or from satellites.
The VISIONS-2 rockets fly though the cusp to see how and where oxygen gets the energy to escape Earth's atmosphere.
The mission team has to wait for the right launch conditions. That includes weather and the aurora, Which play an important role in oxygen outflow.
