Intriguing, though not my preference; to have to buy before you taste begets lesser interaction. It would be something that you would bring people to, rather than your central hub. Larken Rose use to write for this one website that was paid, and since you can see content without paying for it on steemit, he's able to simply enjoy the audience and be paid for it. It's not restrictive; you have access automatically and immediately. Win-win.
Think about it this way. If you have something that people would normally pay for before they buy. It is the same with watchmybit.com. It is no difference from any other market place like Amazon Kindle, etc and they have a video preview so users can see a little bit of interesting stuff before paying. The only benefit I see here is that people will pay in bitcoins and you know the advantage of bitcoins. 1. You receive you payout instantly and directly to you bitcoin wallet, no $100 payout like youtube, 2. Anybody from any part of the world can create content and earn with no restrictions like countries not supported by paypal, and no stress of going through google adsense rules and hassle, no youtube guideline strike, stuffs like that. 3. Bitcoin price can go up and that means your money earned from the content can be double of what you set as price per view.
