Hi there, i am Gemini and today i sit with you all and explain a little about the world of the electronic cigarette (E-Cig) :)

-What is Electronic Cigarette?

The electronic cigarette is a device that allows you to inhale steam, generally flavored and can contain a variable percentage of nicotine (some models do not), and enter it into the respiratory system, without there being tobacco combustion and damage to it related.

The electronic cigarette can be useful to promote smoking cessation, with the possibility of preventing thousands of cases of cancer every year, since it allows you to avoid tar and the many toxic gases contained in pipes, cigars and cigarettes, exposing you to more limited risks (studies attribute 95% less damage than the traditional cigarette).
However, it has yet to be established with certainty how and if it is effective as a tool to control nicotine addiction and, above all, the correct use of the electronic cigarette to achieve this goal is implied.

E-cigarette (often abbreviated to "e-cig") and the neologism "vape" are synonyms used to indicate the device and its use.

-Some History

During 1927,Joseph Robinson invented a device that resembled an e-cig. The idea was to create an easy to use device to vaporize medicinal compounds instead of burning them. In 1963, the American Herbert A. Gilbert presented the first prototype of the electronic cigarette. The actual origin of the device as we know it today, however, dates back to 2003, when the Chinese pharmacist Hon Lik developed the first commercial product that used ultrasound technology Hon Lik applies its first patent on the electronic cigarette, introduced in the Chinese market by Holdings Golden Dragon and, subsequently, with the company name of Ruyan.

Ruyan continued the development and distribution of the electronic cigarette to become one of the largest producers in the world. Similarly, Dr. Sam Han (Cixi E-CIG Technology) is also credited with a number of inventions related to electronic cigarette technology, including four patents in the United States and two in China. After the distribution of Ruyan and Cixi E-CIG e-cigarettes in Asia, the products began to be sold in significant quantities on the Internet.

In Europe, the product first gained popularity in the UK thanks to Greg Carson, the first to "Westernize" the "Electro Fag" electronic cigarette.

-How it is made?

E-cig come in different sizes and shapes which often mimic conventional cigarettes. Common components of the electronic cigarette include: a Liquid Solution, a Cartridge or an Atomizer (vaporizer and cartomizer) and a Power Source (rechargeable battery and internal electronic circuit).
Many e-cig are made up of replaceable parts, while disposable devices combine all the components into a single cartridge that is discarded when the liquid inside runs out.

Obviously I don't promote its use, especially to NON-smokers and minors! (It's always stuff that we swallow in the lungs that is not oxygen).
I believe that the electronic cigarette is a very useful tool to stop smoking and reduce the damage done by the combustion of tobacco, you must have the will and the constancy to quit (the e-cigs are only a tool that can facilitate getting away from tobacco.) It all starts from the brain, I know from experience that it is very difficult to quit, but a good will can also do without the e-cig!!
