It’s easy to self publish a kindle book
Last week I did some research on how to self publish an e-book. I found it is very easy if you go with an amazon kindle book. All you need is to have the e-book properly formatted into a text editor like Microsoft Word, and go to https://kdp.amazon.com.
The interface of KDP is very intuitive and the process is so smoothly that if you are lucky you can have your e-book published in less than 24 hours.
Although you e-book may have as little as 20 pages (around 12.000 words), the recommended length is between 60 and 100 pages.
The tricky part is how to choose a topic for your book.

I am recommending three big criteria for choosing the topic for your book:
- Choose a topic according to your interest;
- Choose a topic according to your experience;
- Do a little bit of research and find a market for your story.
