1. What are the main features of the released version of testnet?
It’s the Data-Side-Chain testnet Beta, and the key features of this release are:
- Support for three types of Transactions
- Implementation of File Contract
- Support for large-scale p2p network
- Release of DX explorer

2. What features can we do on the testnet?
The released version is a testnet demo, so you cannot use this version now. But you can check out our testnet explorer to see how it works: you can find the locations of our test nodes, also the blocks and transactions that generated on the testnet.
We will release more features in the following weeks, and when we launch the testnet by the end of this year, you will be able to use it!
3. What's the block reward?
If you mine BTC, any winner miner will get 12.5 BTC reward for each block, and then this amount of BTC will be sent to your address, and it’s called block reward.
We use the same strategy - miners in DxChain P2P network can get the chance to win the reward via contributing to the DxChain.
4. Is a certain amount of DX needed to run a node or such?
No, it is not needed. Any host with the DxChain client can join the DxChain network and get DX from the network reward after we launch the mainnet.
5. How is the progress going on from DxChain adoption perspective? New Partnership, exchanges etc?
We are working on it, and another strategic partner will be announced very soon! For the exchanges: yes, we are planning to get DX listed on more exchanges. Our community will be the first to know the good news.
